Rogers recently price dropped the LG Optimus Pad. This LG optimus tablet is currently free using a 2- or 3-year agreement, whilst no-term is still for price of $549.99. The Honeycomb tablet 1st made available on Rogers in May of 2011.
Some speculation suggests that Rogers is just making way for a new LG branded tablet, the LG Optimus Pad with LTE connection with an 8.9 inches display screen.
This LG Optimus Pad is in a class of it’s own in the Android tablet space by having an 8.9 inches (1280 x 768) capacitive touch screen display, 2MP front facing digital camera and 2 5MP rear facing digital cameras for the backside.
This tablet comes with the ability to catch 3D video. Furthermore, it offers a 32 gb of internal storage space, aGPS, dual-core 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor chip, Wifi 802.11 b/g/n, a 3.5mm headphone jack port, Wireless bluetooth 2.1+EDR, HDMI output, and works on Android 3.0 Honeycomb.
The slate measurements are about 243 x 149.4 x 12.8 mm and weighs about 625 grms.
